1. Who this policy covers

Tianyi Software operates Mendax: AI Interrogations (Android package com.tecdao.mendax.interrogations) and this website, mendax.tecdao.com. Contact us about support, privacy or account deletion at gotoxqc@gmail.com.

This website is different from the app.

This static website does not add analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, remote fonts or embedded third-party scripts. Cloudflare hosts and delivers it and processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to serve and protect the site. If you email us, your email provider and our mailbox provider process your message. We receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. Links to Google Play take you to a separate service with its own policies.

The Android app has separate data processing, including the analytics and session recording described below. The website’s lack of trackers does not mean the app has no analytics.

2. Information used by the app

Account and device identity

Mendax uses a device identifier for device-based access. Depending on the sign-in method available to you, it may also process your email address, display name, Google sign-in information, authentication tokens and password verification records. These are used to identify your account, verify access and support account recovery or linking.

Gameplay and free-text input

We process case sessions, questions you type, generated answers, clues, confrontations, accusations, progress and scores to run the game and preserve its state. Your free-text questions and relevant case context are sent to AI processing services to generate suspect responses and gameplay guidance. Do not include private information about yourself or others, passwords, financial details or other sensitive information in gameplay text.

Purchases and entitlements

Google Play handles checkout. Mendax processes product and order identifiers, purchase tokens, verification results, subscription state and game entitlements to validate purchases, provide access and reconcile billing. Do not send us card details. Payment information provided directly to Google is governed by Google’s policies.

Usage, diagnostics and session recordings

The app integrates Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for usage events and crash diagnostics, and Microsoft Clarity for interaction analysis, heatmaps and session recordings when enabled in the app configuration. These integrations can receive user or device identifiers, locale, gameplay events, purchase-related events and error information. Session recording captures app interaction information; do not assume everything visible during app use is excluded. This information helps us understand use and investigate problems.

Support and content you submit

When you send feedback, a deletion request or other content, we process the text, contact information and any diagnostic details or attachments you provide to respond, troubleshoot, review content and handle the request. Send only information necessary for that purpose.

3. Services involved in processing

We use service providers to operate Mendax, deliver content, process AI requests, authenticate access, verify purchases and diagnose issues:

• Cloudflare: website and backend hosting, application databases, caches, asset storage, and Cloudflare Workers AI for gameplay prompts and generated responses.
• Google: Google Play billing and purchase verification; sign-in services where offered; Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for app usage and diagnostics.
• Microsoft Clarity: app interaction analysis and session recordings when configured.
• Resend: verification email delivery when that email service is configured.
• Email providers: delivery and storage of messages exchanged with our support mailbox.

Information needed for these functions is processed by the relevant provider. Providers may process data in countries other than your own, under their applicable terms and privacy practices. AI input leaves your device for processing; avoid entering sensitive information. We may also disclose relevant records where required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

4. Retention and account deletion

Account records, gameplay state and purchase-related records are stored to operate the service, maintain access, reconcile transactions and handle support or disputes. Retention depends on the record and purpose; this policy does not set a uniform automatic expiry for all data.

The account-deletion process removes server-side account records and associated gameplay sessions, turns, clues, progress, scores, refresh tokens, entitlements and account-linked feedback and logs. Order records are retained for reconciliation and disputes with the account reference replaced; this does not erase the full transaction record. Submitted case content may remain with its creator account reference replaced.

Account deletion is not a promise that all local copies, backups, provider-held analytics or diagnostics are immediately erased. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, transaction reconciliation, fraud prevention or disputes. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request deletion of associated data; we will assess the request, verify ownership where necessary, and explain any applicable retention or limits.

For the request steps, see Delete your Mendax account. Uninstalling the app is not an account-deletion request. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage it separately in Google Play subscriptions.

5. Your choices and requests

You can choose what to include in gameplay text and support messages. You may ask us about access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or other privacy rights available under the law that applies to you. Email gotoxqc@gmail.com with “Mendax privacy request” and enough information to locate the relevant account or record. Do not send passwords, verification codes or full payment details. We may need to verify your ownership before acting.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Follow the age rating and eligibility requirements displayed for Mendax on Google Play in your region.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or its processing changes. The date above identifies this version. Contact us if you need help understanding how it applies to your use of Mendax.
